I had my wedding at stephany's in May of 05. We had a wonderful time, the food was great and the people were nice!! I loved the inside and the outside was set up nice also. I would recommend this place. I also thought the prices were good, and the staff was nice helpful
Pros:Good prices, good amount of space, great food, friendly staff, beautiful outside and inside.Cons:I had no cons..
We had our wedding in the garden out back and our reception inside immediately after. Overall the day went well but that wasn't necessarily due to anything the staff at Stephany's did. I wouldn't recommend this company for weddings.
Pros:The food (what I got to try) was very good. Also the price of the venue was reasonable (we got a discount because they double booked our original day). Cons:As I said, they double booked our original day, the problem was that they waited until 3 months before the wedding. The food was supposed to be put out a little at a time but they put everything out right away and most of the guests didn't get very much. There was also an awful coca-cola umbrella out in the garden that my now husband had asked to have taken down but never was and it got into our pictures. To top everything off, they were in formed ahead of time that my father was in a wheelchair and would need handicapped access, there is a long ramp to get to the side porch but there was another step to get inside and the "ramp" they provided was a piece of plywood (my dad's wheelchair weighs about 500lbs, I was terrified it would break and he would get hurt, thankfully that didn't happen). When the best man's father brought this up to the owner, his response was that he had been "grandfathered in" to the business and had no obligation to provide handicap access.
